New and familiar faces will take on teaching roles at area colleges.

Claudia Anderson will now be the flute teacher at Grinnell College.
Kimberly Helton will be teaching at Simpson College in Indianola.
Leslie Marrs is the new Assistant Professor of Flute at Drake University.
Gro Sandvik of Bergen, Norway will be the Visiting Professor of Flute at the University of Iowafor the 2006-2007 school year.

Congratulations to EIFA member Kara Santos who recently won the Principal Flute position with the Evansville (IN) Philharmonic. Kara will also teach flute at the University of Evansville.

EIFA President Nicole Esposito was recently named an Artist in Residence on the new website PICCOLOIST.COM, joining an esteemed team which includes piccolo soloists Nicola Mazzanti, Jean- Louis Beaumadier and many other prominent performers.
